Like the waist (no elastic band) and the padding.Love the little pocket on the right leg.Not wild about the shorter length, but I like longer shorts.I love Gore products for their quality and fit, these shorts are the best I've ever had. They are more comfortable and long lasting than all the ones I've tried before. These are probably the fifth pair I've owned and as long as Gore sells these I won't buy any other.IT RUNS TOO BIG. AND IT'S TERRIBLE TO RIDE HOURS WITH A SHORT THIS WAY. I DON'T LIKE IT. THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THE SIDE POCKETThis chamois was so huge it was in the way. Came way down the thigh.Had to return it. Will try againThese are my first pair of gore shorts. I'm very happy with them. They are super comfy, can go for long spins without any discomfort.I'm giving them a 4 as they are on the large size. I'm 147lbs, 5.6 in height and ordered a medium which is my usual size. These, however are very big fitting, I should have got a small. They make my butt look bigger.I would recommend them as they are very comfortable.I was pleasantly surprised by these shorts. When I took them out of the package they looked to be shorter in the legs than my other Gore shorts. However, when I put them on, I was pleased to see they were the appropriate length I was looking for. I love the dotted silicon grippers on the legs; they hold just as well, if not better, than my Gore Power 2.0s. I also love the outside of the leg bands; they have a real sophisticated but sporty look. I like the quality of the chamois, which offers comfort for up to 4 hours, where my Power 2.0s only offer about 2-3 hours comfort. You can definitely feel the difference between them, with the chamois on this pair feeling more firm and less "collapsible" for lack of better words. Very happy I made the move to add these beauties to my collection of bike wear. I was so pleased with them, I bought a second pair!
